Linda Frenette comes to CVA by way of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, where she oversaw a staff of six, many volunteers, and an operating budget of $500,000. Among her projects are development of a K-12 education program, an adult education lecture series, and "Music All Around," which presents music at nontraditional public sites. From 1999 to 2005 she was Executive Director of the Visual Art Exchange (VAE), in Raleigh, a non-profit artist-membership organization, where she supervised a staff of three, many volunteers, and a budget of $295,000.
